Life without Adventure | dishes
I need to get something out of my chest… I cannot live without adventure. I can’t go pass three months without flying somewhere and when I don’t travel anywhere after the three months, I grow worrisome. Weird much?
But let’s face it; no matter how hard some of us save and manage our bank accounts sometimes we can’t be flying all-the-damn-time. So I try very hard to pack my weekends with things to do. Lately, I have been driving around my city trying out restaurants in the area and going out for walks to take pictures of random things, and this makes me extremely happy. Sometimes I wish I were the girl that could sit at home and read a book all day, but that’s not even close to the person that I am. I need to be outdoors. If you’re anything like me, you have to let me know. So after my trip to Rome, I have fallen in love with ice cream again. I was not that into ice cream before my trip because I’m always trying to lower my sugar intake. See…what had happened was… I tried the best ice cream in the world in Rome. Now, I am on the hunt for an ice cream as good as the one in Rome. I haven’t found one yet, but to a close tied was this coconut-orange ice cream I had at Azucar here in Miami. It was delicious!
My long walks consist of constant stops to take pictures. I can’t be the only person that goes out and pulls out her phone to take a picture? Or am I? When I am not on the road, I like to beach out. I can stay at the beach all day riding bike, running, and recently skateboarding (although my boyfriend is helping me with this). If I’m not beaching-it-out, I am on top of buildings looking for skyscrapers to take pictures of. The point is, I’m trying to stay busy. A continues motion of different routines to give my life flavors. Don’t let long hours at work or hectic home life drag you down. Go out and do something. Trust me, nothing like looking back on a Monday morning recapping the weekend with a good laugh.
Until next post.
