FALL DECORATIONS AT HOME

One of my favorite things to do is decorate. If I could decorate my house every single week, I really would, but I’m always on the rode due to work or traveling. I remember when I was in high school I painted my room in 3 different colors after a break-up. It always has been an outlet of mine to get creative and paint walls and rearrange the look of a room. Don’t ask me why… but perhaps it’s a way to express myself, I really don’t know.

Ever since I moved out on my own, I take advantage of the holidays to decorate my apartment. You will too if you haven’t ventured out on your own or with a roommate. It’s so much fun to bring Thanksgiving and Christmas into your home with some fall decorations. So when it came down to it this year, I gave my home a little pumpkin spice.

Home decorations

I love the color orange, specially during the fall. You can find tons of pieces in my home with this color like the blanket I have over my sofa or the pillow cases. I also added a circular center-piece in rose gold and added brown pine cones inside of it with a couple of other leafy-like material. Adding a few of my current favorite reads and scented candles is must for an extra touch. I bought these at TJ MAXX.

If you’re wondering about my home pieces (like my sofa, my rug, ect), I have a blog dedicated to just that here.

cozy, cozy, cozy!

Okay, I get ask quite a bit about my map and it was a gift for my 21st birthday, though you can grab yourself one here. I love adding polaroids and prints to my home, as you can see.  I’ve also added a blanket to each of my chairs (which, I purchased at Ikea). My chairs, my rug, and my computer table are all from there as well.

99.99% of my hardware is rose-gold. It goes so well with my fall decorations. Most of the hardware I bought at Pottery Barn and Z Gallerie.  I love frames too, so you’ll find tons of them in my house (all bought at random places) and almost all of them have a picture of Sawyer, so there’s that haha!

I also have a video that I filmed, hope you enjoy xo
